WakeUp2 is a 2017 Taiwanese TV series, the sequel to WakeUp. The series is produced by Zeng Hanxian and Tang Shengrong, directed by Xiao Lixiu, Hong Bohao, and Lin Zhiru, starring Huang Jianwei, Xu Weining, Wu Kangren, Li Guoyi, and Meng Gengru, with a total of 13 episodes. This series pioneered Taiwanese dramas and was the first to be filmed in a refugee camp in Hebei, Jordan, to depict the selfless spirit of humanitarian rescue by field doctors. Xiao Zhengxun, who served as a field doctor in Jordan, encountered a MRT bombing when he returned to Taiwan with trauma. By chance, Xiao Zhengxun and Yang Weiyu, who had broken up, took over the task of establishing the trauma team of Kanglian Hospital.
