NBC's "Timeless" has been booked as a drama, developed by Eric Kripke of "Supernatural" and Shawn Ryan of "The Shield". "Timeless" is described as a fusion of "Back to the Future" and "Mission: Impossible". It tells the story of an unreliable team that has to travel through time and space to stop a criminal master from changing human history, but their actions may lead to disastrous results. In the trailer, it can be seen that the man tried to influence the crash of the Hindenburg spacecraft. Abigail Spencer plays Lucy Preston, a smart, alert and enthusiastic history professor who was taken away by the government and participated in a top-secret mission to travel through time and space. Matt Lanter plays Wyatt Logan, who rides on the prototype time machine together, and looks unreliable. Malcolm Barrett plays Rufus, the third person to travel through time and space. He is a smart engineer, but his black identity became a constraint at the time. Goran Visnjic plays the dangerous villain Garcia Flynn, who has just stolen a time machine and brought his soldiers to the hour before the crash of the Den Burg spacecraft. He has a log from another timeline to guide him, and although his plan is very mysterious, it is obvious that he must be stopped. Paterson Joseph plays the eccentric industry legend Mason Lark, who founded Lark Industries; he secretly developed a time machine from the eyes of the government and was not discovered until now. He knows that the time machine has fallen into the wrong hands, so he provides assistance to the protagonists and their group. Sakina Jaffrey plays the fierce, high-level government agent Denise Christopher, who is responsible for managing the time-travel team chasing Garcia Flynn. Claudia Doumit plays a character named Jiya.
