When agent Jeremy Reines (Stephen Dorff) woke up from his sleep, he found himself in a confined, dark space. He could hear the roar of the motor and the vibrations from the surroundings, as if he was locked in the trunk of a car. He suspected that he was being retaliated for owing gambling money, but all signs indicated that the kidnapping had nothing to do with gambling. There was an LED timer in the trunk that counted down again and again, and there was a radio next to it. Through the radio, he knew that another guy who claimed to be an official of the White House Foreign Affairs Department was also treated the same way.
