Chiharu (Sayū Kubota), a female office worker, is transferred from Tokyo to Sapporo when her lover cheats on her. One night, she meets the mysterious genius chef Yuu (Kanki Iijima) at the bento shop "Kumaben" standing quietly in the alley. The bento made by Yuu is different from what Chiharu requested. However, this special bento made for Chiharu unravels Chiharu's frozen heart... Soon, the bento made by Yuu with gentle meddling is evaluated as a "magic bento". As a result, Kumaben welcomes troubled customers. The low-key Chiharu also unknowingly fulfills the wishes of people who visit "Kumaben" with Yu's magic bento.
