The latter plays almost his real self in the film - a Bulgarian version of Robert De Niro. In the film, many public figures from Bulgaria, including musicians and politicians, appear one after another. However, director Mitovsky and screenwriter Popov did not let the film become a simple spoof. The wise lines and tight rhythm throughout make the film a cross-border comedy. In addition, whether in terms of photography, editing and other technical aspects, "London Assignment", which has invested 1.5 million euros, is the most mature film work in Bulgaria to date. It has been well received in China and is also considered one of Bulgaria's hot candidates for the Oscar foreign language film this year.
