In the suburbs of London in 1977, three boys obsessed with punk music wandered the streets all day, pretending to be cool. One day, they learned that the local punk spiritual leader was going to hold a party, and the young boys decided to break in to pick up girls, but unexpectedly they entered an alien party by mistake. They failed to pick up girls, but fell in love with the alien girl at first sight. In order to show the great love of earthlings, a 48-hour earth punk experience journey began! This film is adapted from the short story of the same name by fantasy novelist Neil Gaiman. Director John Cameron Mitchell, who once took the film and music industry by storm with "Rock and Roll Barbie", cleverly combines the comedy elements of otaku picking up girls and aliens reporting for the spotlight, and adds punk music and rebellious spirit. Nicole Kidman is invited to transform into a silver-haired punk godmother with an afro, screaming that rock and roll will never die; Elle Fanning, who plays the alien girl, transforms from a well-behaved and innocent girl into a sexy and smoky punk girl. In the psychedelic and grotesque visual style, she and potential newcomer Alex Sharp compose a bizarre and romantic love affair.
