Two monks from Bhutan traveled all the way to Seattle to find the reincarnation of one of their predecessors. They found a nine-year-old boy, Jesse (Alex Wiesendange), and hoped to take him back to the temple for verification. Jesse's parents promised to take their son to Bhutan. In their interactions with the lamas, they told a fascinating story intermittently, starting from when the Buddha Shakyamuni was still the Prince Siddhartha of Kapilavastu (Keanu Reeves), and how he saw all the sufferings along the way, and finally gave up his status as a prince and a wealthy life, and practiced to become a Buddha.
