This is a typical martial arts comedy film in Hong Kong in the 1970s. The old con man Deng Guowen (played by Xu Guanwen) often goes in and out of the prison. When he is bored in prison, he often performs some of his own tricks to entertain the prisoners in the same cell. The prisoner Liu Junjie (played by Xu Guanjie) admires Guowen's tricks very much and hopes to work with him to make a lot of money after he is released from prison. Guowen did not agree, because the old con man usually goes alone. After the two were released from prison, Junjie organized a group of old con men to gamble with Guowen. Guowen defeated them by bribing the dancer Pepe who was present early in the morning. Junjie admired Guowen even more and proposed that the two work together again. Guowen couldn't resist his pestering and finally agreed. The two planned to start with the city's bully brother Quan. In order to raise gambling funds, they also participated in the TV station's prize game. Guowen successfully won the prize with his clever mind. The day of gambling with Brother Quan has arrived.
