British director Danny Boyle will shoot "127 Hours" for Fox Searchlight. The film is based on a true story and tells the story of Aron Ralston, an American mountaineering youth, who saved himself after breaking his arm. In May 2003, American mountaineering enthusiast Aron Ralston was trapped for 5 days and 5 nights in a canyon in Utah because his right arm was pressed by a rock. In order to escape, he endured the severe pain and spent more than an hour to break his radius and ulna, used his sports shorts as a temporary tourniquet, and then used a knife to cut off his right forearm from the elbow. After getting out of the rock, in order to race against time with blood loss, he climbed through the narrow and windy canyon with superhuman perseverance, descended to the 60-foot-deep valley bottom along the rope, and met the rescuers after walking 5 miles, and finally survived successfully.
