Liang Kuan (played by Nick Cheung) is a low-level police officer who has played minor roles as an undercover agent many times. When he was frustrated, his superior suddenly assigned him to investigate the con man Ferrari (played by Wong Jing), and Kuan then found confidence. One day, Kuan accompanied his girlfriend Pizza (played by Kwan Soo-mei) to attend a banquet hosted by his sister (played by Sandra Ng) for his brother-in-law, the con man Huang Shihu (played by Stephen Chow) during his short release from prison.
