Thousands of years ago, there were two powerful countries in the world, the Barsbrook Empire (guarded by the powerful holy stone Raphael's Eye) and the Kingdom of Lagus (guarded by the equally powerful holy stone Michael's Eye). In order to maintain world peace, the two countries signed a non-aggression agreement and cooperated with each other for a long time. But ten years ago, the Barsbrook Empire claimed that the Kingdom of Lagus intended to obtain another holy stone and violated the agreement between the two parties. In the end, Lagus was destroyed in the war between the two countries. Ten years later, a man wearing a vow necklace repeatedly appeared in the dream of the male protagonist Ted, confusing him. Ted and his good friend Mikaje were excellent students at the Barsbrook Empire Army Officer School. They were full of expectations for life after graduation, but when Ted met Chief of Staff Ayanami, his memory suddenly recovered and he remembered that he was the son of the King of Lagus. In an impulse, he attacked Ayanami and was caught and sent to prison. His friend Mikaje sneaked into the prison to help him escape, but Ted was hit by Ayanami while flying his flying plane and crashed into the Barsbrook Church in the seventh district.
