This drama is adapted from the manga of the same name, telling the story of the struggle of the members of the SDM headquarters (Special Disaster Countermeasures Headquarters) who use their wisdom and knowledge to protect lives threatened by huge meteorological disasters and risk their lives to rescue on the front line. Yamashita Tomohisa plays the director of the SDM headquarters, the genius meteorological researcher Haruhara Kankuro, and Deguchi Natsuki plays the straightforward meteorological research assistant Kumoda Aya.
