At the end of his wandering journey, the grandson of the legendary Sansuke, Ranmaru Asanoaga (played by Mukai Osamu), arrived at the Ghost Light Village, but he drowned in the hot spring! Fortunately, the beautiful doctor Hayashi (played by Kimura Tae) saved Ranmaru with artificial respiration. Since then, Ranmaru fell in love with her at first sight and started working in the hot spring in the village.
