The twin sisters played by Yasuko Matsuyuki were separated after birth. One of them was Chieko Sada, who was adopted by a wealthy businessman in Kyoto and became a lady of status, while her younger sister Naeko Nakata lived a poor farming life in the Kitayama Sugi. At the same time, the film is set that each of them has a daughter. Chieko's daughter Mai Sada is played by Ai Hashimoto, who is troubled by whether to inherit her mother's store; and Naeko's daughter Yui Nakata is played by Riko Narumi, who went to Paris to study art. One day, Mai Sada went to France to showcase Japanese culture, and the lives of the two mothers and daughters intersected. Among them, Yasuko Matsuyuki will play two roles, Chieko Sada and Naeko Nakata.
