In the 14th century, the Black Death had been raging for ten years. The horrible terminal disease took away half of Norway's population, and the country was depressed and sparsely populated. In order to make a living, some people took risks and started to kill, steal and rob. The poor girl Xiner (Isabel Christine Andreasen) migrated with her family, but was attacked by bandits in the wilderness. Her parents and younger brother were killed, but Xiner temporarily survived and returned to the camp with the female bandit leader Dagmar (Ingrid Bolsø Berdal). Dagmar only hoped to find a sister-like playmate for her beloved daughter Fergie (Milla Olin), but even so, it could not change Xiner's fate of being enslaved, threatened and bullied. Knowing her situation, Xiner must find a way to escape. With the help of Fergie, they fled to the outside of the jungle, and Dagmar and his ferocious way followed closely behind...
