In China, Dr. Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) made a deal with the boss of the Shanghai gang. After the other party exchanged Nurhachi's ashes, he broke his promise and wanted to kill Jones. At the critical moment, the clever little ghost Douding (Jonathan Kequan) rescued Dr. Jones and a singer Willy (Kate Capshaw) who was involved for no reason. Because the plane they were riding crashed, they jumped out of the plane and drifted to a village in India in a rubber boat. The river here dried up, the crops were destroyed, famine was rampant, and the people were living in misery.
